Licensed under The Banking and Financial Services Act of Zambia, FCB is governed by the banking laws of Zambia, which include the following:

  • Bank of Zambia Statutory Instruments
  • Bank of Zambia Prudential Guidelines on the Application of International Financial Reporting Standards

Corporate Governance

Adequate and efficient communication and monitoring systems are in place to ensure that the Directors receive all relevant, accurate information to guide them in making strategic decisions, providing effective leadership, control and strategic direction over the company’s operations, and in ensuring that the company fully complies with relevant legal, ethical and regulatory requirements.

First Capital Bank is governed by a 8 member Board of Directors, one of whom is an executive.
